Impact of the COVID-19 on the right to education: concerns, challenges and opportunities
The recent report by Dr. Koumbou Boly Barry, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Education recalls the importance of all the educational stakeholders in the mitigation of the effects of Covi-19 crisis. An online event that examines the importance of a “common good” approach involving parents, teachers and non-state actors as crucial actors to get us through the crisis will be held on July 7 15:00-16:30 CET.

Additionally, the University of Nottingham Human Rights Law Centre and the Centre for International Education Research are organizing an online webinar to mark the presentation of the report of Dr Koumbou Boly Barry, the UN Special Rapporteur on the right to education, on ‘The Impact of the COVID-19 Crisis on the Right to Education’ to the UN Human Rights Council.
