Request for proposal: GPE KIX Knowledge Synthesis on Educational Options for Out of School Children
The International Development Research Centre (IDRC) is requesting proposals for the Global Partnership for Education Knowledge and Innovation Exchange (KIX) Knowledge Synthesis on Educational Options for Out of School Children. KIX is a joint endeavour between the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) and the IDRC to connect expertise, innovation and knowledge in GPE partner countries and accelerate progress toward Sustainable Development Goal on education (SDG 4). The programme funds 40 applied research projects focused on key challenges facing education systems across the Global South.
This RFP is part of KIX’s effort to synthesize emerging evidence on scaling education innovations to identify and address knowledge and capacity gaps. KIX requires the support of a consultant to synthesize emerging findings from four KIX-funded projects on educational options for children and youth who are out of school and at risk of dropping out.
The requirements of the consultancy include strong research and analytical skills, proven experience synthesizing evidence, knowledge of the research topic and strong written and spoken communication skills in English and French.
