Cambridge University’s Faculty of Education is looking to appoint a Senior Teaching Associate in Education and International Development. The Senior Teaching Associate will lead and contribute to the Faculty’s teaching and learning at both the undergraduate and graduate level, including teaching, supervision of Master students’ research, as well as important leadership, administrative and management duties for the academic year 2022/23. The post is available immediately and is fixed-term until 30th of September 2023 in the first instance.

Candidate profile
The successful candidate will have completed (or is near to completing) a PhD in Education, Development Studies or other related area in the Social Sciences. They will have experience of teaching and/or supervising graduate and/or undergraduate students. The candidate must be able to teach on a range of topics related to education and international development. The ability to work collaboratively and professionally as part of a team is essential, alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with developing course content at graduate and/or undergraduate level, as well as managing courses will be advantageous.
